Terms of Service for tweakd
Last Updated: July 20, 2026
By downloading, installing, or using tweakd, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
The App
tweakd is a macOS menu-bar app that applies and reverts system-level configuration changes (via commands such as defaults, pmset, sysctl, launchctl). Every change it makes is documented and reversible from within the app.
No Warranty
tweakd is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Some tweaks modify low-level system behavior; while every tweak ships with a tested revert path, I cannot guarantee it will work identically on every Mac, macOS version, or hardware configuration.
Limitation of Liability
You use tweakd at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from your use of the app, including data loss, system instability, or reduced performance.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for understanding what a tweak does before applying it, especially tweaks marked "advanced" or requiring System Integrity Protection to be disabled. Administrator-privileged tweaks apply system-wide.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of tweakd after a change means you accept the updated terms.
